The Surprise Exhibit, created for the 2022 Encounter, focused on the phenomenon of surprise and what it tells us about reality and our own humanity. My co-curators and I commissioned artists to create original works for the exhibit, including cartoons, printed textiles, and videos. I also planned the exhibition space and created a dozen hand-made panels and boxes around the theme of surprise.
In 2019, in close collaboration with a philosopher and a neuroscientist, I produced Lost in the Cosmos: The Last Self-Help Exhibit, based on the book by Walker Percy. Below you will find a selection of the many panels I designed for the exhibit, using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
